Just wanted to jot down a date I had this week. Not every date is worth writing about — most of them are just routine. But this one stands out because it started off cold and ended with passionate kisses, making it a classic example of turning things around.

I think there’s a lot to learn from what happened.

The woman was a lawyer with a great figure — curvy and tall, which is exactly my type. We hit it off online, so setting up a meet was quick and easy.

We met yesterday (Tuesday) afternoon at the Juan Valdez café on the second floor of Viva Envigado. She ordered ice cream, and I got a cappuccino.

But honestly, I was a bit let down after we met in person.

Even though we had good chemistry online, she seemed kind of distant face-to-face.

I didn’t let it get to me, though.

I stayed calm and treated the date as a chance to practice my Spanish. Even though her English was solid, I stuck to speaking Spanish.
